PRODUCT DESIGN LEADER
For 15+ years, I’ve led design for complex products whilst building high-performing teams and delivering business growth.

I set the right conditions for teams to deliver their best work by creating psychological safety, giving people ownership, and setting a high bar for craft.
01
Deep empathy
I care a lot about the people I work with, probably more than is strictly necessary. I want to know what makes someone tick, what gives them confidence and when they need support or a bit of a push.
02
Calm in the storm
When deadlines tighten, priorities change and the plan goes sideways I keep teams steady by staying calm, working out what actually matters, cutting through the noise and giving people a clear direction to move towards.
03
Empowered teams
I give people trust and real ownership, while staying close enough to help when things get messy. My role is to provide direction, context and support, then leave enough room for people to think, decide and stretch.
04
Close to the craft
I balance strategic leadership with a hands on approach, staying close to the product and the craft so that I can set a high standard and raise the bar when necessary. I also like to encourage teams to stay curious and be proactive, especially.

About
People-first leadership with a global perspective.
I’m Margot, a product design leader who finds joy in building, mentoring and coaching design teams to help them reach their full potential.
For the past 15+ years, I’ve worked in London and Amsterdam, shaping complex digital products for companies such as Decathlon, Farfetch, Browns Fashion and Jimmy Choo. I’ve worked across a wide range of international environments, from 10-person start-ups to global organisations with more than 100,000 employees, from luxury to sports, and from ecommerce to SaaS.
What gets me excited about design is the chance to solve new challenges every day, bringing business value, and ultimately impacting people's lives. I’m always trying to stay up to date with the industry and I genuinely believe the endless opportunities of AI make it the best time in history to be a designer.
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me on a train to visit my family in Paris, checking out a new exhibition at Foam or Huis Marseille, trying to beat my Goodreads challenge (15 out of 30 books so far this year!), or hosting a wine and cheese night at home with friends.
